We have only four tastefully furnished rooms on the two upper floors. All rooms come with fine bed linens and bath towels, bathrobes, and slippers, complimentary bottled water, air-conditioning, wi-fi, iPod docking stations, cable TV with LCD flat screen TVs. There is an extensive library on the second floor foyer, a 60-inch projection TV in the living room with a library of DVDs, an array of board games and puzzles, as well as a supply cupboard for things you may have forgotten to bring along. We also have a guest fridge in the dining room for you to keep any special dietary or medicinal products or help yourself to a snack during the day.
Each guest is treated to a continental breakfast. Whenever possible, we use locally-grown organic food and food products. Breakfast begins when you need it and consists of fresh seasonal fruit and berries, cold cereal, breads, bagels, mini-Danish, homemade baked goods, coffee, tea, espresso drinks, juices, yogurt, jams, jellies, cream cheese and butter.
Modest but elegant, this room sleeps two in a double bed with a layer of Tempurpedic foam under a feather bed for a perfect night's sleep. Also very quiet.
This is a twin bed double room at the back of the house with soft afternoon light filtered through our giant shade tree in the back garden. This is a very quiet and serene space for anyone who has trouble sleeping.
Overlooking the front garden and Prospect Park across the street, light streams from a bank of gorgeous windows into this large room with a new king sized, pillow-top bed and sitting area. If you didn't know better, you'd think you were in the countryside.
The third floor suite has a queen pillow-top bed, full sitting area, private elegant marble bath, and a 400 square foot (40 sq. m.) private landscaped terrace. Views of both the park and back garden. Completely private.
